Are you OFF??? And I don't mean off your rocker! I mean OUT FOR FUN (OFF)! I haven't been, so that is why I started this Meetup Group.
I wanted to make a place for singles OR couples 21 years and older that are looking for things to do with other people. Interests would be hiking, biking, kayaking, canoeing, walking for fitness, camping, movies, concerts, dinners, etc. Just to find other people that are wanting to get out and do things, but do not have anyone they know that either enjoys the same things he/she does or those friends aren't available to do them.
I started this so that it would be easier for singles or couples to find other people that are looking to get OUT FOR FUN!!
HOW TO USE THIS MEETUP GROUP: I will not necessarily be scheduling meetup dates unless requested by members. I wanted the members to utilize the Discussion Boards to list an event that they are looking for another (or many) people to join them. Please specify if you want just one other person or if you want to go out in a group. State the dates you have available and the event you wish to do ie hiking, walking, movie, etc. If there ends up being several people interested, please let me know and I will set a Meetup Date.
This group was not started for sexual exploitations or to find other people to have illicit affairs. Please be aware that complaints of members will be taken seriously and any vulgar messages/discussions removed.

This group is a perfect way for Moms to get together and talk about what is going on with the kids, give/take advice, and just be there during a time when we all could use friends who understand exactly what we're going through! Our kids will have fun playing with other kids close to their age, and may even form some life-long friendships! We also enjoy several Mom Night Out events per month. As a new member, you have a 30 days to see if this group is a good fit for you before you are required to pay dues. All Mom's are welcome.

Looking for members who suffer from Chronic Pain that are interested in sharing their stories and successes with others. Mara is the facilitator of this group and also a Chronic Pain Sufferer from RSD/CRPS since 1994. She has developed alternative pain management techniques that she enjoys sharing with others. The group also offers a structured plan that helps pain sufferers go from a patient to a person living and managing their pain using The American Chronic Pain Association's Book from "Patient to Person."
I chose the Flying Spaghetti Monster to take the pressure off of calling us an Atheist/Agnostic/Humanist/Tao/Free Though/Secular group. Everyone is welcome and with the Flying Spaghetti Monster leading the way not too heavy. A get together with people of similar ideas.

This is a group for all homeschool parents of young children as well as the stay at home moms of infants,toddlers and preschoolers. We all need a little bit of encouragment in our lives. Parents of children with mild learning differences due to ADD/ADHD, Dyslexia, Auditory Processing Difficulities, and Aspergers Autism are encouraged to consider becoming involved. Our goal is to find solutions to public, private, and homeschool special education. It takes the experience from mothers, educators, business professionals, and medical and mental health professionals to make change happen. Life and social skill development as well as independent academic evaluations will be the topic of the upcoming meetings. You don't have to be a mother to join. You just need to have the passion and ideas to drive change to a system that has become broken.
This group is secular based and could be developed into a homeschool co-op. All religion based homeschools are encouraged to join as our main focus is in helping children overcome learning disabilities.
